Privacy Policy / Datenschutzerklärung

Last updated: 2026-06-29. This policy explains how LocalLLMGear handles personal data under the GDPR/DSGVO.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
Viacheslav Spitsyn
Otto-Michael-Str. 16, 04357 Leipzig, Germany
Email: [email protected] (see also our Impressum).

2. Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). When you visit, your browser automatically transmits data (IP address, date/time, requested page, user agent, referrer) which is processed in server log files for the purpose of delivering the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, functional website). Cloudflare also acts as a content delivery network and provides security/DDoS protection. Data transfers to the USA are covered by Cloudflare's data processing terms and standard contractual clauses. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

3. Analytics (Umami)

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool, to understand aggregate usage (e.g. page views, referrers). Umami does not use cookies, does not store personal data that identifies you, and does not track you across other websites. Data is collected in aggregated, anonymised form. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in understanding and improving the site).

4. Affiliate links

This website contains affiliate links (marked as advertising). When you click an affiliate link, the destination merchant (e.g. Amazon, B&H, Vast.ai, RunPod, DataCamp, Coursera and others) may set cookies or use similar technologies to attribute a referral, so we can earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The data processing on the destination site is governed by that merchant's own privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

5. Advertising

We do not currently display third-party advertising. If display advertising is enabled in the future, this section will be updated and, where required, consent will be requested via a cookie banner before any advertising cookies are set.

6. Search Console & RSS

We use Google Search Console to monitor how the site performs in search; it processes aggregated search data, not individual user data on our behalf. We also offer an RSS feed, which involves no personal data collection.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to: access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21) to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us at [email protected].

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves (e.g. when new services are added). The "last updated" date above reflects the current version.

Note: this policy is provided in good faith for a static, cookieless content site; before relying on it commercially, the operator should have it reviewed (e.g. via e-recht24 or a lawyer), especially once an ad network or consent banner is added.
